Wilson Media was established in 2001 by Robert Wilson to represent authors to book publishers and other media, and to negotiate agreements on their behalf. The agency represents clients whose works cover a broad range of topics, including sports, history, biography, politics, current affairs, business, and pop culture.

Clients include the dean of American sports writers, Roger Kahn; winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Sydney Schanberg; auto industry executive Richard E. Dauch; and American historian David Pietrusza. Sports is a major focus. Sports-related clients include Don Zimmer, Bud Harrelson, Joanne P. McCallie, Mookie Wilson, Ron Blomberg, Al Clark, Tim McCarver and Bill Rodgers. A number of titles represented by Wilson Media have achieved bestseller status. Bobby Murcer's Yankee for Life, Marty Appel's Munson, and Bill Madden's Steinbrenner were all New York Times hardcover bestsellers, while Maureen Duffin-Ward's Suddenly Southern reached #10 on the SEBA bestseller list. Two titles by David Pietrusza, Rothstein, an Edgar Award finalist, and 1920: The Year of the Six Presidents, are perennial bestsellers in the fields of history and politics. Several titles are award winners, including Bob McGee's The Greatest Ballpark Ever, winner of the Dave Moore Award for best baseball book of 2005. For a complete list of clients represented by Wilson Media, see Clients

New titles publishing in 2013 include Marathon Man by Bill Rodgers, the story of Bill's stunning victory at the 1975 Boston Marathon--in a handmade jersey, gardening gloves and shoes he borrowed from Steve Prefontaine--from Thomas Dunne Books; Intentional Walk by Rob Rains, an inside look at the faith that drives the St. Louis Cardinals, from Thomas Nelson; Phil Pepe's Core Four, an account of the four players that were the foundation of the New York Yankees' championship seasons in the 1990's, from Triumph Books; and Al Clark's Nothing to Hide, a memoir of the author's long career as a major league baseball umpire and the four months he spent in prison, from Bison Books.
